Nice camp site, quiet, great fun if you're on a dirt bike as there is a few track and jumps that can be taken advantage of. Bull-Ants can be a bit of a problem though.

The White Cliffs Reserve is a great campsite and fresh water creek. Located approximately 2 km's from Koolunga and 10 km's from the township of Yacka, White Cliffs is a local kept secret. With flowing water all year round and at least 7 - 8 m in depth (in summer) this little paradise is great to swim in. There are plenty of yabbies and shrimp to be caught however they won't be very big. This is because there is something in the water that is affecting the way they grow, but there is nothing harmful to any humans or other animals. Even though there is plenty of water in the creek all year round it is best to swim during late spring or anytime in summer as long as there has been some rain in the last 2 weeks. If the creek hasn't seen a bit of rain every 2 weeks or so leaches turn up and ruin the swim. You can swim anytime you wish however its best to swim in those parts of the year, because the water is rather cold during the year due to the over hanging gumtrees, which block the sun and support the swinging ropes. The ropes that hang from the trees should be tested before use, but from personal experience all are strong to take a full grown man. The campsites have open fire areas, however its mainly up to the camper where they wish the fire to be. With this being said any fires at the Reserve are seasonal. Meaning there is only a select amount of days in the year when you can legally light a open fire at the Reserve. If you have a fire permit then its fine, but in case you don't you can check online for the fire ban dates for the area.
